The job requires a commitment of at least four hours a week. Peer tutors must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 ;\u00a0 completed and received an A or A- in the course(s) they wish to tutor; and a faculty recommendation form submitted by one of their professors.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal peer tutor is responsible, mature and approachable, and able to work with a diverse student body, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.<\/p>\n<p>For detailed information and to apply online, click <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/farmingdale.edu\/tutoring\">farmingdale.edu\/tutoring<\/a><\/strong> and look for the &#8220;Become a Tutor&#8221; link.<\/p>\n<p>If you have questions, e-mail the <strong><a href=\"tutoringctr@farmingdale.edu\">Tutoring Center<\/a><\/strong> or visit the staff in Greenley Hall Room 211.
