He will do his research on NASA&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/chandra.harvard.edu\/\">Chandra X-ray Observatory<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; considered one of the space agency&#8217;s &#8220;Great Observatories,&#8221; along with the Hubble Space Telescope.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Douglass, who is also an astronomer, studies galaxy clusters &#8211; the largest gravitationally bound systems in the universe, and the X-rays they emit.
