Here&#8217;s how to reduce them and do a good deed.<\/p>\n<p>Bring pre-packaged, unopened food in cans, boxes or plastic jars to the library Circulation Desk for a late-fee reduction of $2 per each item donated. Please do not bring glass containers, perishables, or damaged or expired goods. All donations will go to Island Harvest, the Long Island food bank.<\/p>\n<p>Fine waivers will be applied to late fees only, not for lost or damaged library materials. Limits apply, so check the policy at Greenley. Don&#8217;t owe anything?
