This event is for students of any major, focus or department with an interest in entrepreneurship. Are you thinking of starting a business? Don’t know where to start, or how to write a business plan? The “Kick-Start Your Business Ideas” workshop will help you develop your ideas, and build the confidence you need to pitch your business at a competitive level. And, you will have the opportunity to further develop your ideas to compete in the New York State Business Plan Competition in Spring 2018.<\/p>\n
Here’s how it works: You will have five minutes to pitch your business ideas to faculty advisors, followed by a brief question and answer session. Think of it as an “elevator speech” – be brief and to the point. Be sure to explain exactly what your idea is, and why it will\u00a0 be a profitable venture. Advisors are there to help, so don’t be afraid to ask\u00a0 questions.<\/p>\n
