By offering our students internships that have a likelihood of leading to rewarding careers, Tesla is closing this loop.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The collaboration with Tesla will create a path for our students\u00a0 between their post-secondary studies and a meaningful career,&#8221; said Dr. Mohamad Zoghi, acting chair of the automotive technology department. &#8220;In turn, the Long Island region will benefit from the economic expansion associated with a diverse, expertly trained, and locally produced workforce.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The event was also attended by New York State Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan, and State Senators Carl Marcellino and Tom Croci.
