FSC’s Delta Lambda Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau has been recognized by the sorority’s national office with its Diamond Chapter Award for the 2016-17 academic year.<\/p>\n
The Diamond Chapter Award is presented to affiliates that excel in all aspects of sorority life; have gone above and beyond the Sigma Delta Tau Standards for Chapter Achievement; and are recognized as a leading sorority on their campus.<\/p>\n
To qualify for this award, the chapter must have successfully completed requirements in the following areas:\u00a0 membership recruitment, scholarship, educational programming, leadership development, new member education, administration, and alumnae relations.\u00a0 They also must have gone above and beyond the top-tier expectations in at least one of these categories.<\/p>\n
Said Lukas Miedreich, FSC’s\u00a0Coordinator of Fraternity Sorority Life and Campus Programming, in his letter of recommendation for the\u00a0award:\u00a0“Since the inception of fraternity\/sorority life at FSC a few years back, Sigma Delta Tau has been the trailblazer on campus, always striving to be the best versions of themselves, as well as pushing the entire fraternity\/sorority community to new heights.”<\/p>\n
