He was Orientation Leader of the Year in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>He is extraordinary outside the classroom as well. He is a peer tutor at the Writing Center and a Nursing Simulation Lab Assistant, where he helps create training videos. In past years, he worked at the Tutoring Center and Open House.<\/p>\n<p>Correia is a Nurse Extern ( an eight-week rotation for nursing students who have just completed their junior year in a baccalaureate nursing program ) at Huntington Hospital, where he assists registered nurses in the emergency room.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nursing major Bradley Correia &#8217;18 has won the 2016-2017\u00a0 Excellence and Student Initiative Scholarship Award from SUNY&#8217;S ACT (Association of Council Members and College Trustees).
