\n<\/strong>Dr. Susan Barrett-Landau, Nursing
\n<\/em><\/strong>A member of the FSC community since 2007, Dr. Barrett-Landau is a volunteer in the department, even while completing her full-time doctoral program. A much-in-demand mentor, she is helping to prepare the next generation of nurses. She supervises nursing students who annually administer flu shots to thousands of senior citizen; participates in the Late Night Breakfast\/Study Sessions; and serves on the Pre-Health Professions Committee.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2017\/05\/Sylvia-2017-200x300.jpg\")
\nSylvia E. Navarro Nicosia<\/em>, Institutional Advancement<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>An alumna of the College who was selected valedictorian of her graduating class, Nicosia began working at FSC in 2005. Even as a student she exceeded her professors\u2019 expectations and was nominated by one of them to develop the Student Services website. Now as a staff member, she is in demand as a presenter at national and local conferences. She has earned awards for the College\u2019s website redesign, mobile-website and the 24-hour alumni campaign. She is devoted to the Alumni Association and is active on the Multicultural Committee. She is helpful and gracious, patiently explaining website concepts to those not familiar with them.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2017\/05\/Keri-Hauff-200x300.jpg\")
\nKeri Hauff, University Police
\n<\/em><\/strong>An alumna of the college, Hauff has been a member of the campus community since 2005, when she was hired as a University Police Officer. She works closely with students, teaching Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) classes to female members of the College, and does training in CPR, AED, and first aid courses. She participates in the Law Enforcement Torch Run, which raises money for, and awareness of, Special Olympics. She was recently designated part of campus tours for finalists for two senior staff positions, requiring knowledge and tact. She serves as a member of the Children\u2019s Center executive board. She is on campus whenever needed and serves as the \u201cface\u201d of the University Police by staffing the tables at Open Houses,
\nJob Fairs and Accepted Student Days.<\/p>\n
