She will be working with the RAM program to help bring it all to pass.<\/p>\n<p>Jessica&#8217;s dream was birthed at a recent <em>New York Times<\/em> workshop for student newspaper editors. Jessica &#8211; along with senior Elizabeth Cantwell-Greco &#8211; was inspired by the opportunity to work directly with <em>Times<\/em>\u2019 editors and reporters to explore the role of newspapers in contemporary society; develop their journalistic skills, and discuss the various aspects of the newspaper from the newsroom and editorial to advertising. They participated in a workshop on the editing process and also got to network with other student editors from around the country.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10256\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10256\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-10256 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.farmingdale.edu\/sites\/campus-times\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2017\/04\/elizabeth-cantwell_DSC_1649_V-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-10256\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Elizabeth Cantwell-Greco<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Cantwell-Greco, who is interning as a web writer with<em> Long Island Pulse <\/em>magazine, found the workshop exhilarating. &#8220;Attending the workshop was an experience I will never forget. The walls were plastered with previous\u00a0Pulitzer Prize winners.
