Cuomo\u2019s<\/a><a title=\"Home \u00bb SUNY \u00bb SUNY News \u00bb Press Releases \u00bb April 2017 \u00bb 4-8-17 Gov NYS Budget Excelsior Scholarship\" href=\"https:\/\/www.suny.edu\/suny-news\/press-releases\/04-2017\/4-8-17-excelsior\/\"> Excelsior Scholarship<\/a><\/strong>, a first-of-its-kind in the nation program, will provide tuition-free college at New York\u2019s public colleges and universities to families making up to $125,000 a year. The first-in-the-nation plan will be phased in over three years, beginning for New Yorkers making up to $100,000 annually in the fall of 2017, $110,000 in 2018, and $125,000 in 2019.
