Love over Hate at FSC!
That’s the name of a new initiative organized by the staff and students of the Research-Aligned Mentorship (RAM) Program. The initiative seeks to promote diversity, tolerance, and open dialogue for all – regardless of political affiliation (or lack thereof) or social and personal identity.
The first meeting of the group will take place Tuesday, November 29, during the 11 a.m. activity hour at RAM Program Conference Room (Greenley Library Lower Level). This is an open invitation for members of the campus community who are interested in:
- Understanding/discussing what the media is saying post-election
- Raising awareness of critical issues that this generation must address
- Raising money on campus for organizations in danger of losing funding
- Organizing for positive activism throughout the community
- Supporting each other as human beings to speak for what is right
Love over Hate at FSC stresses that it does not support any form of discrimination toward any group. Its motto: “Until you treat everyone equally, you have no right to complain about the treatment you receive from anyone.” – Unknown
