Design Award for PorfolioFest Poster

Visual Communications Professor Jack Harris is a winner in the 53rd Annual American Graphic Design Awards, sponsored by Graphic Design USA. Harris won for the 2015 PortfolioFest poster.
Harris joins an elite group of winners. Nearly 10,000 entries were submitted, and only 15 percent were given awards.
Harris has won other awards for his work as an illustrator/graphic designer, from The Society of Illustrators, The Society of Publication Designers, Print Magazine and Communication Arts magazine. Graphic Design USA named him a “Designer to Watch” in 2000. His work has been presented at 20 solo exhibitions.
He is the owner of two companies that do graphic and web design, and traditional illustration: Harris Design, Inc. and jackharris.com.
Harris was instrumental in the creation of the Interaction Design degree and has taken on its development and implementation.
