2015 Paumanok Award Winner Christopher Collins is a former military officer and a 12-year veteran of the US Army Reserve, having completed three overseas combat deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq. He has published one poetry chapbook, Gathering Leaves for War. He received an MFA in creative writing through Murray State University’s low-residency program.
He lives in Independence, KY with his wife and two children. He is currently at work on a full-length poetry collection tentatively entitled, My American Night.
