Aviation Students Join 9/11 Ceremony at JFK Airport

Students from FSC’s Aviation Department participated last week in a 9/11 ceremony sponsored by the JFK Chamber of Commerce. More than 500 members of the JFK community attended, giving students the opportunity to network with management personnel, airline crew members, airline managers, and local politicians.

Students also took an airfield tour, where they observed an A380, the largest passenger aircraft in service; inspect new runway construction; visit de-icing facilities; and inspect aircraft rescue and fire-fighting equipment.
