Farmingdale College Foundation Presents Two Teaching Awards

The Farmingdale College Foundation, which annually presents Excellence in Teaching awards, has honored two members of the Business Management Department in the School of Business: Dr. Jing Betty Feng and Keith Brady.

Dr. Feng won for Excellence in Teaching/Full Time. Said Dr. Richard Vogel, School of Business dean: “In the classroom, Dr. Feng is a strong and effective instructor who fully engages her students in a wide range of active and applied-learning exercises. Alongside her strong classroom skills, she has tirelessly devoted her time to develop the entrepreneurial skills of our students, through her work and efforts on campus, and at regional and state business plan competitions.”

Brady won for Excellence in Teaching/Part Time. An adjunct assistant professor, he is Vice President, Financial Planning at State Bank/Valley National Bank in Jericho, LI. His previous teaching experience was at Sanford Brown College, where he taught Accounting. He took his MBA in Finance, and BS in Accounting, at LIU/Post.
