Tell SUNY Who You Are – Be Heard and Be Counted
November 16, 2015
Soon, a student survey from SUNY will be sent to all SUNY students, including Farmingdale, designed to gather information to better serve SUNY’s diverse student population.
Completing this survey is fully voluntary; however, providing this information can help SUNY ensure that all campuses provide a supportive and welcoming environment.
Students will be directed to the survey after they register online for the spring semester, or if they have already registered, they will be directed to the survey the next time they log in to OASIS.
From SUNY: “The data we are seeking concerns first-generation status, employment status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability services, and veteran status. This survey has six questions (a few with multiple parts) and we estimate that it will take three minutes to complete. Each question gives you the option to choose not to respond.”
Contact provost@suny.edu , for general questions from students about the survey.
