Aviation Department’s Spring Safety Stand Down

Aviation students are invited to the Safety Stand Down, which promotes knowledge-based aviation safety training, along with personal discipline and responsibility as essential elements of aviation safety. The event will change the way you think about aviation safety.

Guest speaker is Bill Korbel, chief meteorologist at News 12 Long Island and a pilot. He will address new tools to reduce aviation safety risks, improve procedures, and process new methods for improving personal situational awareness and judgement.
