Virtual USPS Direct Effect Innovation Challenge Set for Oct 30th at FSC
October 20, 2020
Farmingdale State College is proudly hosting the first virtual USPS Direct Effect™ Innovation Challenge on Friday, Oct 30th, 2020 beginning at 9:00 AM.
The Direct Effect Innovation Challenge is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together teams of local college students for one day to design and develop integrated marketing campaigns in response to real-life business cases.
Students learn, apply, and pitch their integrated marketing plan all in the course of a single day with the winning teams earning the opportunity to work with industry partners to bring their concepts to life.
Each Innovation Challenge provides college students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience, network with local employers and build their resumes. Through these immersive, hands-on events, students gain experience in designing and implementing an integrated marketing campaign: skills they will carry forward into the classroom and their careers.
The student teams will be registered from the participating colleges by Friday, Oct 23rd. Each college may enroll up to two teams, each containing 3-5 undergraduate students.
The opening (9am-10am) and the students presentations (1:45pm-3:30pm) will be opened to the public. Anyone can register and receive a link to join our virtual innovation challenge.
