New Support Group for Students of Color

Campus Mental Health Services debuts the Students of Color Empowerment and Support Group, Thursday, 10/15, and running online Thursdays thereafter, 1 – 2 p.m.

This therapeutic support group will provide a safe setting where students of color can connect with, and gain support from, other students of color. Students of Color Empowerment and Support Group will deal with causes of stress among students of color, such as deep roots of discrimination, issues with police brutality, and increased rates of COVID-19 in communities of color. The group will be facilitated by a therapist of color.
