Alexander Hamilton Featured in Constitution Day Lecture
September 14, 2020
Dr. Michael Motta, assistant professor of Political Science, will give his 3rd Annual Constitution Day lecture on Thursday, 9/17.
The recorded talk – entitled “Hamilton, the Musical; Hamilton, the Constitutionalist” – will be presented virtually the morning of the 17th at this link.
Dr. Motta, a scholar of constitutional law and avid fan of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton: An American Musical, explores the role of the U.S. Constitution in the groundbreaking play, and provides a larger context for understanding the role of Alexander Hamilton in shaping our American polity.
