Expert Professors on Borat, Circuits, and Coronavirus

Dr. Robert A. Saunders – professor of History, Politics and Geography – recently gave a seminar – Getting over Borat: Exploring the (After-) Effects of Parody in the Post-Soviet Realm – at Malmo University, in Sweden.
He has also published two papers: “Televisual diplomacy: I am the Ambassador and Danish Nation Branding at Home and Abroad,” and “Pissing On the Past: The Highland Clearances, Effigial Resistance and the Everyday Politics of the Urinal.”
Dr. Saunders was recently quoted in a USA Today article about coronavirus cases not being reported in Turkmenistan.
In the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology, Assistant Professor Supriya Karmakar was recently written about in Electronics Daily, for his research in circuits. Dr. Karmakar is popular with his students, too. On RateMyProfessors.com, he received a 92% rating by students who said they would take his class again.
