FSC Students Exhibiting Artworks at Jericho Public Library

Thirty-four Visual Communications students and non-majors taking art classes have their work on display through Wednesday, 1/29, at The Gallery at Jericho Public Library. The exhibit is curated by FSC’s Thomas Germano, professor in the Department of Visual Communications.

The work represented displays a mixture of self-initiated artworks, and work done for class projects. Featured are photographs, oil paintings, and drawings in pencil, chalks, pastels, and charcoal.

“The entire Visual Communications department’s faculty and staff should be commended for mentoring and encouraging the students to submit works for this show,” says Professor Germano.

The library is located at One Merry Lane; 516-935-6790. Gallery hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Sunday, noon – 5 p.m.
