Fighting “Revenge Porn”

“Revenge Porn” is a crime that impacts one in eight adult social-media users. The “Cyber Civil Rights” event will review important definitions; related crimes; motive and method of perpetration; harm to victims and society; and New York State law. Cyber Civil Rights Initiative is the nation’s leading organization combating “Revenge Porn,” advocating for legislation, serving victims, and conducting research. Michelle Gonzalez, executive director of Cyber Civil Rights Initiative, will speak.
