Fichtner has more than 50 films to his credit, including Armageddon, Black Hawk Down, The Dark Knight, The Perfect Storm, The Lone Ranger, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He currently appears on network television as Adam Janikowski, in the CBS comedy, Mom.
Cold Brook, which goes into general release in November, was recently screened at the Woodstock Film Festival, where it won the Carpe Diem Andretta Award. Fichtner co-wrote, produced, directed, and stars in the film, which was shot in upstate Buffalo and Cortland. In Fichtner’s words, the film is about “finding friendship, doing the right thing, and learning how far you will go to help a stranger.”
