July 22, 2019
Criminal Justice, and Security Systems & Law Enforcement Technology Professor John Kostanoski’s Journal of Applied Security Research is teaming up with the Crime and Justice Research Alliance (a collaboration between the American Society of Criminology and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences) to promote research in criminal justice.
“It is quite an honor to see the Journal elevated into the circle of prestigious publications from the nation’s leading criminal justice professional societies,” said Professor Kostanoski, the publication’s founder and editor. “It is acknowledgement of the high quality of research being done in the discipline by the Journal’s researchers and writers – an outcome that would make any editor proud.”
Crime and Justice Research Alliance spokesperson Caitlin Kizielewicz said: “We will be working closely with journal editors and promote selected articles from journals, including the Journal of Applied Security Research. One effort is that CJRA will consider promoting any new or forthcoming research from the Journal.”
