April Is Special Events Month at FSC

Lots is happening on campus this month, including special events as part of Centennial Commencement. How many will you attend?
- Every Monday is Meatless Monday at Aramark’s Marketplace. Remember that giving up dairy or meat one day a week reduces your carbon footprint.
- Tuesday, 4/9, 11 a.m. – 2p.m., Campus Center Ballroom – Learn about social justice issues, including environmental justice at the “Four Pillars of Activism.”
- Wednesday, 4/10, 9 a.m. – noon, Roosevelt Hall – Donate canned food, and then watch the can building contest from noon – 1 p.m. Stay for the announcement of the best castle at 1 p.m.
- Sunday, 4/14. Registration begins at 8 a.m; race at 9 a.m., Great Lawn – Run or walk in the Centennial Commencement 5K Ram Run.
- Wednesday, 4/17, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Roosevelt Hall – LI Geospatial Conference
- Tuesday, 4/23 , 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Ralph Bunche Plaza – Earth Day Fair and Fountain Fest. Join President Nader as he officially turns on the fountain. Food trucks will be on site. (In the event of rain, the Earth Day Fair will be held in the Campus Center Lobby.)
