Farmingdale’s MSCHE Self-Study Is Underway
March 26, 2019
The campus response for volunteers to serve on working groups has been overwhelming and there were many more volunteers than could be accommodated by staffing needs, but there will be opportunities to contribute over the next two years. To all who volunteered – thank you!
Our MSCHE VP, Dr. Kushnood Haq, will make a preliminary visit to the campus on Thursday, 5/2, at 11 a.m. There will be an open forum for the campus community to meet Dr. Haq and discuss the self-study. The meeting will be held in Roosevelt Hall’s Little Theater.
An initial step in the self-study process is selection of Institutional Priorities – or themes – to be addressed in the self-study report. Three draft themes have been identified:
- Student Success
- Partnerships & Community
- Inclusive Culture
As announced at Governance, the campus community is asked to provide input on these Institutional Priorities. A link is available on the FSC Intranet in the Middle States Information Section, labeled: MSCHE 2021 Self-Study Institutional Priorities/Strategic Goals Draft Map for Campus Input.
When you click the link, it opens a file that provides more detail and instructions for how to provide input. The original deadline for feedback on this document was 3/11, but has been extended to 3/29.
