“Safety” the Buzzword at Conference

Dr. Sayeed Islam, assistant professor, psychology department, was the keynote speaker at a recent meeting of the American Society for Safety Professionals. His talk, “Making Safety Training More Engaging,” covered a wide range of topics, including using a data-driven approach to make safety or compliance training more engaging for learners.

Said Dr. Islam: “This was a great opportunity for those interested in learning how to design more engaging safety training. I enjoyed meeting safety professionals from all over Long Island who are committed to developing great safety training.”
