For the third consecutive year, FSC’s Office of Veterans Services was invited by the Amityville School District to visit social studies classes to speak to high school students about service in the armed forces. Our student-veterans, along with Eric Farina, director of FSC’s Office of Veterans Services, answered questions after telling their own stories about why they enlisted in the military, what they did during their time served, and how that service affected and benefited them in their lives.

“I was happy to see the invitation from the Social Studies department chair in my email inbox again this year,” said Eric Farina. “We have had such a great rapport with the students at Amityville High School in the past, and I was looking forward to exposing  another crop of young veterans to the experience of introducing America to ‘their military’ on a personal  level.”
