Test Drive an Electric Vehicle
Always wanted to test drive an electric vehicle? Now is your chance, as part of the Sustainable Transportation Conference being held at FSC. The event, sponsored by the Renewable Energy and Sustainability Center (RESC), will feature the latest vehicles from a number of manufacturers.
To take a test drive, go to the Solar Carport near Lupton Hall, from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Charge NY-NYSERDA will provide the vehicles, which feature the latest technology. Vehicle manufacturers will be on hand to answer your questions, as will representatives from other PEV manufacturers, utilities, and government agencies that promote alternative fuel transportation.
Preceding the test drive event, the Sustainable Transportation Conference will take place in Lupton Hall Room 138, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. Guest speakers include:
- Sammy Chu, Chief Executive Officer, Edgewise Energy, and officer with the U.S. Green Building Council – Long Island Chapter
- Neal Lewis, Executive Director, Sustainability Institute, Molloy College
- Michael Voltz, Director, PSEG-LI Energy Efficiency and Renewables
- Dr. Mohamad Zoghi, Acting Chair, FSC Automotive Engineering Technology Department, and associate professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology
