SUNY Grant Call for Proposals

SUNY’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion has announced a call for proposals for the 2019-2020 Explorations in Diversity and Academic Excellence Grant. SUNY campuses are invited to show their support for innovative approaches that illuminate and strengthen the intersections between diversity and academic excellence.

Each campus may submit one proposal.  If you would like your project considered, submit a one-page summary to the Provost’s Office by 1/15, 2019 at grants@farmingdale.edu.    

Projects eligible for funding include, but are not limited to, those that improve the campus climate; access and success for students; course development and pedagogical innovations; recruitment and retention of diverse faculty; and campus-community dialogues.  Conferences and symposia, film and speakers series, and campus surveys can be used to further any of the above or other comparable programs.
