FSC Rally Kicks off LI Mobility Week
The annual Car Free Day LI has morphed into Long Island Mobility Week this year, and FSC will help kick off the week with a campus rally.
The rally – the first in a series of events from Monday to Saturday – will be held in the Campus Center lobby at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, 9/17. President Nader, as well as invited dignitaries, will lead the rally. Come out and show your support for the 6th Annual Car Free Day LI, being held on Friday, 9/21.
FSC has participated in this international event for the past five years, and our participation has shown a dramatic increase – from 8 pledges in 2013 to 548 for 2017. Join the effort and pledge to be car-free.
Start thinking about how you can help reduce your carbon footprint on 9/21. One great way to do that is to ride the FSC Shuttle.
The shuttle is wheelchair accessible and picks up riders in front of Laffin Hall, the LIRR station in the Village of Farmingdale, and the Aviation Center. The shuttle is open to all students, faculty, staff, visitors, and alumni Monday through Friday. Visit the Shuttle page for pick-up and drop-off times.
