Professor Emeritus Barry Capella Named to Post at Manhattan Church

English/Humanities Professor Emeritus Barry Capella has been named Head High Altar Acolyte of the Acolyte Guild at St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue, Manhattan. The church is part of the Episcopal Diocese of New York.

The Acolyte Guild trains, inspires and encourages young men and women ages eight and up, to be faithful and dedicated Christians through service and fellowship. Acolytes assist the priest in serving the congregation during services.
