“Dominic A. Murray 21 Memorial Scholarship” Applications Now Being Accepted

The Dominic A. Murray 21 Memorial Foundation, Inc. is once again offering a $2,100 scholarship in memory of the late Dominic A. Murray, an FSC student-athlete who died in October 2009 at the age of 17 from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). The scholarship will be awarded for the Spring 2019 semester.
Candidates must be full-time matriculated students with a minimum 3.25 GPA. A 500-word essay explaining the importance of learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) skills, and how to raise awareness on campus, must be attached to the application. Candidates must also be willing to volunteer for a minimum of three events with the Dominic A. Murray 21 Memorial Foundation.
Applications close 9/5. Please note that Farmingdale College Foundation scholarships require students to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which will be verified by the Financial Aid office.
