Island Harvest to Grow Veggies at FSC. RAM Nation Radio Reports

This Thursday, 4/26, Associate Professor of Urban Horticulture and Design Michael Veracka, and Greenley Library’s Kathy Machin, will be interviewed on RAM Nation Radio’s “Around the Dale” show about the new vegetable garden Island Harvest will have at FSC, and food insecurity on LI.

“Around the Dale” – which also features news about campus happenings – airs Thursday mornings, beginning at 11:10 a.m.

Island Harvest is the largest hunger-relief organization on LI. Relying on volunteers, in-kind services and donated food, it devotes more than 95 cents of every dollar contributed directly to its programs.
