Bravo Nursing Program! Ranked #9 in NYS

RegisteredNursing.org has announced that Farmingdale’s
nursing program has been ranked #9 among all RN programs in the state. That’s up five slots over 2017. Nursing programs were assessed on several factors, which represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond.

Said Dr. Kathleen Cino, nursing department chair: “Our ranking as the ninth program in the top 30 in NYS made me proud, because our students, faculty and staff deserve recognition for excellence.  Our faculty and staff, plus the beautiful campus, low tuition, support services, technology and applied learning opportunities are among the reasons students thrive at Farmingdale. To me, this rank confirms for prospective students and their families that Farmingdale State College Nursing is an excellent choice.”

RegisteredNursing.org ranked the top 30 nursing schools in New York by analyzing current and historical NCLEX-RN “pass rates,” meaning the percentage of graduates who pass the exam, out of the 99 RN programs in the state.
