Do you want to learn how to better support your LGBTQ students, colleagues and friends? Do you have a sense of what LGBTQ means, but aren’t sure about all of the rapidly changing terms? Are you sure you’re comfortable with LGBTQ people, but not sure how to put your acceptance into practice?

The aim of Ally Training is to educate the FSC community about supporting LGBTQ people in your classrooms, departments, organizations, workplaces and communities. This interactive workshop is facilitated by Dr. Clare Forstie, assistant professor in the sociology & anthropology department. Come ready to ask questions.

This event is sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

For more information, email Dr. Clare Forstie, or call 631-420-2715.
