FSC’s Renewable Energy & Sustainability Center (RESC) is a co-sponsor of “Avenues of Opportunity,” an event for women seeking their dream career.

Spearheaded by NYS Senator Elaine Phillips and the Workforce Development Institute, the meeting will feature women business leaders and employers from across LI.

Register for this free event at Avenues of Opportunity, no later than Monday, 4/9. Bring resumes and dress for success.

At this event you will:

  • Learn about LI sectors seeking and supporting women in viable careers
  • Meet female industry leaders and learn how they achieved success
  • Understand what you need to access in-demand job opportunities
  • Connect with employers, training providers and local career support centers to begin career preparation

“RESC’s mission includes participating in outreach for the expansion of renewable  energy as a field within STEM. We promote all jobs and internships in the energy segment within STEM, especially for females who are underrepresented in the energy and manufacturing industry,” said Professor Marjaneh Issapour, professor of electrical and computer engineering technology and director of the Renewable Energy & Sustainability Center.
