Earth Week Celebrates a Healthy Environment and You can Help

- Monday, 4/16 – Meatless Monday – help the environment and enjoy delicious meatless meals with assistance from Aramark.
- Tuesday, 4/17 – Honoring our Past, Celebrating our Present
1 p.m. – Unveiling the LIATI (LI Agricultural and Technical Institute) sign between Dewey and Orchard Halls. The sign is positioned at the original entrance to the campus.
1:30 p.m. – Celebrate our 106th Birthday – Roosevelt Hall MPR - Wednesday, 4/18 Lights-out Wednesday – turn off every light you don’t need, especially when you leave a room.
2 p.m. – Dedication of the Fred R. Harrison Service Complex at the entrance to the Golf Driving Range. - Thursday, 4/19, Earth Day Fair – Campus Center Lobby and Patio
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Two dozen academic departments and non-profit organizations will offer useful tips on water efficiency, conserving energy, choosing plants which use less water, and others which improve indoor air quality. Learn many reasons not to smoke or vape, and why giving up meat one day a week is good for the environment. Bring your old cell phones and batteries to recycle. And learn how FSC recycles.
