It’s Not Too Late… Read FSCNow!

FSCNow – the first-ever magazine published by Farmingdale StateFSCNow magazine cover
College – has been circulating for just a week, and rave reviews are pouring in. If you haven’t seen it yet, then read it now.

Conceived by President Nader and designed and written by the staff of the Office for Institutional Advancement, FSCNow celebrates the outstanding faculty, students, alumni, senior administrators and programs that have made FSC “SUNY’s Hottest Campus.”

Start with the cover story on John Romita Jr. ’76, the world-famous illustrator who came to fame drawing Spider-Man comics, and now is penciling Superman, Batman and other superheroes for DC Comics. Then move on to an issue packed with stories about FSC people, programs and partners, such as tattoo expert Dr. Michelle Miranda, and star student/athlete/musician Tunisia Solomon; the dental hygiene program that inspired students to visit the Appalachians to provide free care; and jobs and internships with dental-care product supplier Henry Schein, and one of the retail industry’s top point-of-purchase display designers, D3.

Also read about President Nader’s inauguration; FSC’s newest VPs, Nancy Connors and Greg O’Connor; and the “Bragging Points” page that details highlights about the College, members of the campus community, and distinguished alumni.

And that’s not all. In addition to the print publication, FSCNow has its own microsite, where you can read or download the entire magazine and watch exclusive videos. It’s a taste of Farmingdale you won’t want to miss.
