Prof. Marj Issapour Wins Outstanding Educator Award

Professor Marj Issapour, director of FSC’s Renewable Energy & Sustainability Center and professor of electrical/computer engineering technology, has been recognized by the IEEE Long Island Section with its Athanasios Papoulis Outstanding Educator Award.
Professor Issapour received the award “for noteworthy contributions to renewable energy, data communications, and STEM education.”
IEEE – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – is the world’s largest professional association, with more than 400,000 members worldwide. It is dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. The Long Island Section’s membership is composed of engineers, scientists, physicists, computer scientists, medical doctors, software developers, lawyers, information technology professionals and others, in addition to its electrical and electronics engineering core.
