Student Research Day: A Call for Poster Proposals

Student Research Day offers a forum for FSC undergraduates from all disciplines and departments to present their research, scholarship or creative works via a poster session. Proposals for poster presentations must feature research conducted by FSC students with faculty mentors, or with approval of faculty. Poster proposals are to be submitted here by Wednesday, 1/31.

Posters will be displayed at Student Research Day, Friday, 2/16.

Requirements to present include:

• Students must be authors of the poster. (Posters may have multiple authors.)
• Students are encouraged to submit completed research, work in progress, or proposed research/project ideas.
• Students who complete poster projects as a part of classroom activities are permitted and encouraged to submit.
• Students must obtain faculty approval before submitting. The faculty member or faculty mentor approving the submission will have supervised the research, scholarship or creative work.
• Submissions must include a title, author(s), and up to 250-word abstract / paragraph describing the work.

The competition is sponsored by an FSC Students First Campus Grant and the Research Aligned Mentorship (RAM) program.
