Lanterns for Puerto Rico Doubles its Goal

We reported in Campus Times a few weeks ago that FSC had joined Northwell Health and Adelphi University in a campaign to raise money to buy solar lanterns, which would be donated to families without power in hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico.

The good news is, the goal of providing 500 lanterns was met. The better news is that the campaign doubled its goal, and 1,000 lanterns have been sent to Puerto Rico.
