Diabetes Awareness Campaign

Monday – Friday, 11/13 – 11/17, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.  See below for locations world diabetes day

The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is sponsoring a Diabetes Awareness Campaign.

In addition to educating the campus community about this disease, low-carb/sugar-free treats such as pumpkin scones and brownies will be available for sale in the lobbies of the Campus Center, Gleeson, Lupton, and Laffin Halls, and in the Greenley Library breezeway.

“Dia-betcha-didn’t-know facts” and other resource information will be given with each treat.

Donations to fund diabetes research through organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the American Diabetes Association are gratefully accepted.

Watch for the low-carb, sugar-free dessert cart throughout the campus.

Please contact the EOP office at 631-420-2230 if you have questions.

Print Diabetes Awareness Week and post.
