Wanda Phipps

Wanda Phipps is a writer/performer living in New York. She is the author of Field of Wanting: Poems of Desire and Wake-Up Calls: 66 Morning Poems. She has been published more than 100 times in a variety of publications, including the anthologies Verses that Hurt: Pleasure and Pain From the Poemfone Poets and The Boog Reader.

Phipps has received awards from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Meet the Composer/International Creative Collaborations Program,  Agni Journal, the National Theater Translation Fund, and the New York State Council on the Arts.
