Depression Awareness Day

Thursday, 10/5, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.     Campus Center LobbyHappy and Depressed

Learn about the symptoms and treatment of depression. According to the latest National College Health Assessment, more than half of all college students felt hopeless, lonely, exhausted and sad during the last year. Many felt so depressed they felt they could not function. Don’t let this happen to you.

If you or someone you know needs help, staff of Campus Mental Health Services and the Critical Student Issues Committee will be in the lobby of the Campus Center to help. Learn more about the signs of depression, take a free depression screener, and learn ways to beat the blues. If you’d rather meet with someone privately, call 631-420-2006 to make an appointment with Campus Mental Health Services.

For more information, contact Campus Mental Health Services, jill.bandura@farmingdale.edu or 631-420-2006.

Please print and post this Depression Awareness flyer.
