Conklin Hall Rededicated to Cheers!
September 11, 2017
Conklin Hall – opened in 1915 as a heating plant, later home of academic programs and assorted other tenants – had its grand re-opening last week as the new home of student government, student activities, student clubs, and RAM radio.
The event – attended by scores of students, faculty, staff, and state legislators – was hosted by President Nader, who enthusiastically recounted the building’s history and applauded its new role as a hub of student activity.
“Conklin Hall is serving its ultimate purpose,” Dr. Nader said. “With its rededication today, I know it will be an integral space for our students and student organizations as we work to make this an even more student-focused campus.”
