FSC Has a New Women’s Volleyball Coach

Kristi Nix – who has coached volleyball from junior high to Division 1 – has been named Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at FSC.
She will not only coach volleyball, but will serve as the Life Skills Coordinator for the athletic department.
Nix most recently was the boys’ volleyball coach at Garden City High School, and the Student Development consultant for the East Coast Conference. She received the MA in Liberal Arts from Stony Brook University and a BS in Operations Management from Rhode Island College. At Rhode Island, she was a two-time captain and MVP of the women’s volleyball team and holds the school record for kills in a season.
