Sport Management Major Named Valedictorian

Brian Muff

Brian Muff, who’s graduating this week with a BS in Sport Management and a minor in Business Management, has been named Valedictorian for Spring 2017.

Muff has had an interesting career at FSC. He is the outgoing president of the Sport Management Club and likewise Sigma Beta Delta, the international business honor society. He has achieved a perfect GPA, and is a winner of the Student Award for Academic Excellence. He has been on the President’s list and is a winner of the Presidential Scholarship, among others.

Says Muff: “Studying at Farmingdale State College has equipped me with irreplaceable technical know-how, interpersonal skills, and above all, the confidence that is necessary for success in the dynamic, turbulent world I’m about to enter.”

Assistant Professor of Sport Management, Ira Stolzenberg, says about Muff: “As one of his professors in his senior year, I can easily say that Brian is a confident, well-rounded student.”
