Eleven Star Athletes Join the All-Farmingdale State Team

The All-Farmingdale State Team has added 11 members to its ranks. The players were inducted at the recent Farmingdale State Rams Senior Banquet.

The honored student athletes include:

  • Dalton McCarthy   Senior, Baseball. McCarthy put up superstar numbers this season, including most home runs, triples, runs scored, RBIs and slugging percentage. In addition, he holds many marks for his four-year career.
  • Brittany Rosino   Senior, Women’s Lacrosse. Rosino was the captain on this year’s team, and a true leader. She was twice named All-Conference (Skyline Conference), and last year was the Conference Offensive Player of the year. This season she led the team in goals.
  • Ryan Wieczorek   Freshman, Men’s Lacrosse. As a rookie, Wieczorek led the team in goals and points. Last month, his 57th goal broke an FSC single-season record. He also set single-season records in three offensive categories. He was named Skyline Rookie of the Week four times, and Player of the Week twice.
  • Nicole Franz    Junior, Women’s Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor track. At this season’s Skyline Championships she earned first-Team All-Conference honors and helped the RAMS to their first Conference in school history. She was named to a SUNY Scholar-Athlete Award this semester.
  • Jovanni Parkinson   Senior, Soccer and Outdoor Track. An All-Conference player this year, he led his team in goals, points and game-winning goals. Just last week, at the NJAC Championships, he was named First Team All-Conference. He is on FSC’s Top 10 list in 3 outdoor track events.
  • Priscilla Signore   Senior, Women’s Tennis. She won First Team All-Conference honors in all four seasons she played. She led the team to its fourth straight conference title this year. She graduates as the all-time leader in doubles wins and second in singles victories.
  • George Riefenstahl   Sophomore, Men’s Basketball. This season he led the Rams in scoring, field goal percentage, rebounds and blocked shots. His .571 field goal percentage led the Skyline Conference. His layup with one second on the clock earned the team its first Conference title since 2009. He was a First Team All-Conference player.
  • Kristin Keller   Senior, Women’s Lacrosse. This year’s captain was an All-Conference player, in a season where she led the team in four offensive categories. She graduates ranked fifth all-time in free position goals and ninth for goals scored and game-winning goals.
  • Justin Napolitano   Freshman, Men’s Lacrosse. A starting defender in 18 games, he led the team in caused turnovers and ranked second in ground balls. His 48 caused turnovers set a single-season school record; led the Conference; and was twelfth in the nation.
  • Daniella Ford   Freshman, Women’s Soccer. As starting goalie this season she helped lead the Rams to an undefeated season in Conference play. She won First Team All-Conference and Rookie of the Year honors. Her outstanding play in conference games helped lead FSC to the NCAA tournament for the ninth time in school history.
  • Matt Seelinger   Senior, Baseball. A four-year starting pitcher, last season he was named First Team All-Conference, Skyline Pitcher of the Year and Third Team All-Regional. He led the Conference in strikeouts and ranked fifth in the nation in hits allowed per nine innings. He graduates as the all-time leader in strikeouts per nine innings.
